I can't wait to Herculez up top with Altidore, and Bradley and Giovinco behind them. I think I just became a fan. Go Red!

That's a potent offense, the Toronto fans finally have a team
that they can be happy with and Giovinco is the real deal. |

Still no word yet on Bedoya, if they can get him then
Aristeguita will have his old teammate on board and with those
two and Sapong we'll keep those goals rolling. |

Wishing for Bedoya but getting Creavalle. No joy in
Philly tonight.
Actually Warren does provide some needed depth for
the Union doesn't he? Brian Carroll ain't getting
no younger. |

Looks like a good addition but Bedoya would have been great,
oh well looks like he's staying at Nantes. |

Portland up 1-0, Adi ...
I would have liked Bedoya in MLS. |

Would have been cool, fortunately we did get Barnetta who I
think will help us in the USOC (not sure if he can play in it
since he was just signed but hopefully he can) and in getting a
playoff spot. Next week semi vs Chicago will be intense at PPL
Park, two more games left to achieve the Union's first trophy.
After watching an interview this week with McCarthy he is
definitely fired up and ready to give his all to win it. |

One pundit said last week that Giovinco is the
best player ever in MLS. True? |

If you project out his stats over the rest of the season, I have no problem with making the argument that he's having the best all-time individual season. He's got a shot to break the single season goal mark and/or be the first 20-20 player in MLS history. |

Should also get league MVP, Giovinco came here not for a
vacation but to play his socks off. It's great to see players like
him and helps to quiet the critics of MLS who say that this
league is a retirement league for players from Europe.
Unfortunately some players come here looking at it that way
but it's good to see that some players come here still in their
prime and to play hard. |

Depends what he meant by best ever player in MLS.
If he's having the best single-season of any player in MLS history then that's fair.
Best player ever in MLS doesn't really add up in any other context other than best single-season.
Either way, I've had him on my fantasy team since the start (I don't bandwagon) and he's been the most entertaining player to watch this season. |

Anyone else notice KCs bench? One GK and the rest Defenders. Better hope a forward or mid don't get hurt. Weird selection. |
