If we can get Drogba that would be amazing, used to be one of
the best in the world and is still very good. But Sackiewitz will
probably not do it and get another M'bohli type player. But
either way I like our chances this year to win the USOC, there
are no excuses not to win it this year and the fans deserve it
after six years of waiting.

Chicago has "discovery rights" to Drogba... So they called dibs
somehow. I wonder who called dibs on Messi and Ronaldo!
Stupidest rule.

I'm torn whether or not I hope Chicago gets Drogba, but all
other teams should have an equal chance to sign him. He
wants Montreal for the French but I think Chicago is offering
the money.

Didn't Chicago have discovery rights to Jones?
How'd that turn out?

I think we will have Sapong back for the semis also so that will
help us, pairing him with Aristeguieta who is back from injury
might not be a bad idea.

Cyle Larin's red card has been rescinded, he can
suit up on Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

Alvaro Saborio, now with DC, has 0 fee in case
your slush fund is depleted. If he scores like he
did in past years for RSL he could be a good
pickup.

Sabo may light it up on Sunday unless DC puts the
game away early and he doesn't see the pitch. I'm
not dissing the Union, I'm just mindful that Philly
played an exhausting USOC match on Tues and that
Espindola will be eager to make amends for his
recent red card.

I'm guessing Sabo won't start this week but will
be starting in the near future. He'll be EJ's
replacement.

Sabo is a shark, EJ is a bear

So I see Philly deals Sheanon Williams and an
international slot thru next year to Houston for
allocation $ and "future considerations" (an MLS
placeholder for whatever it wants).
Will the Union really depend only on Ray Gaddis as
the sole right back? Clearly there are more moves
to come.

Alessandro Del Piero, that's who we should be trying to get.
But our front office is incompetent so not getting my hopes up.

He is a free agent and looking for a new club, also said he
would like to move to the U.S. someday, looks like a fit for
MLS.

Big changes for Top Shelf this week. Management
won't stand for the sort of apathy we have shown
on the field up to this point!

I believe what you just heard was a collective groan from the rest of the league, emanating from as far away as Spain. Neat trick, Dave.
