My Battery advance to the 4th round. 3-2 winners over Fort Lauderdale. We host Orlando City on June 17. Woo-hoo! The great thing about this tournament is that if you support a minor market club you have the chance to see MLS teams come through each year as long as you progress far enough in the tournament........Looking forward to a SEA-CHA final!!!!

Hope your boys have a deep run, Paul.

Been 7 years since a non-MLS team was in the final, and obviously you know who that was.

Well it looks like Rochester is next, we won't take them lightly
and it won't be an easy match. The Rhinos were down a man
and scored three goals in extra time vs a decent Harrisburg
squad. I'm sure we will see some posts on this thread by
Knightmare during next month's match, but the Union are
looking to redeem themselves after a brutal start to the season
so I think we will prevail at home.

I was bummed that Colorado Springs Switchbacks took out Harpo's FC. One of the best amateur runs since Dallas Roma in 2006.

Do I understand that Seattle Sounders FC 2 or Portland Timbers 2 could face their MLS kin? Funky.

SS2 plays RSL next. I think it's setup where those type of teams can't play their parent club until the final (or maybe SF?) ...

Yup, can't play until the final.

Sounders v. Sounders 2 would be a helluva USOC Final, ha.

That would be pretty unstable if Sounders (or any other club with a '2' in USL) missed out on CCL at the expense of their reserve club. What if they both qualified? Inconceivable!

No goals yet in the PHI-ROC USOC match, but Philly is
putting on the pressure. Sons of Ben are too loud as usual and
that's how we like it.

As predicted, going to OT. McCarthy has saved us multiple
times in this one, offense needs to wake up
