In-laws decided to visit at 5pm today, just in time so I can't
watch the PHI-NJRB game (great timing as always). I'll have
my MLS app going on my phone though to check updates,
should be a close game and hoping we can get at least a
point.

At least I can watch the Arsenal game this morning, they've
secured third place in the EPL. Hard to believe Hull or
Newcastle will be relegated today, thought it would have been
Jozy's previous team Sunderland who would have been
relegated instead.

Looking at the Liverpool score I think Gerrard is ready to join
MLS, talk about ending their season with an embarrassing
result but at least he scored a goal in his last game for
Liverpool.

Is it too much to ask to have in-laws who follow MLS? Is it too
much to ask? I guess it is.

in-laws? I have to spend my time talking to you guys year after year since none of my family or friends are MLS fans - outside of my uncle who only watches the Sounders and one friend who if there's no other sports on will text that he's watching MLS.

Not even my friend who PLAYED college soccer is an MLS fan, even though in high school he and I went to Sounders (pre-MLS / A-League) games ...

So is it Casey that turned Philly around?

Today, it was actually Sapong. Best game he's had in quite a while. He flipped the high pressure script on Cows.

My mfls team scored another consecutive 0 points but after
shutout wins over our two rivals I'll take that trade-off. The
Union are definitively back in business, shows a lot of
character for a team run by lousy management and to recover
after the worst ever start for the franchise. Made my last
transfer for the season on a philly player, playoffs are well
within reach now and also good timing for the upcoming
USOC matches.

What a strange game at RBA. The Red Bulls ate their lunch in the first half. In the second half NY fell asleep and the Union capitalized on two defensive lapses in the middle of the field. Having three central defenders unavailable certainly showed. That was the first time I've seen them lose at the stadium in a very long time.

I went through all the box scores and noted the following:

Kansas City - New England
KC goal in 29th min was scored by Dominic Dwyer, not Saad Abdul-Salaam
KC goal in 43rd min was a PK

New England - DC
Missing Lee Nguyen yellow card in 45+2 min (he later had the second yellow)

I'll report this now.

I will second that. I really appreciate everything you do Arrows. It is awesome to know when we can post final scores in tournaments with your help.
