anyone know why they are not just playing the game today?
seems like an awful waste for COL to fly back there.

Very frustrating since I started three Kansas City guys. Should
be allowed to do something like sub players

tough break, but we're all subject to them. There's no need for
subs.

I don't think subs is the right answer either. Just frustrated. I
also don't think We are all subjected to the same thing. Not
everyone has an equal amount of players from a game that
got canceled and it is not The managers fault for playing the
players. This is a different situation than starting guys who are
injured or on the bench. There was no game to be played

This is a lot like injury transparency. Auto substitution and or free subs based on an individual player's start time would be nice. Until then, take your lumps and yell at the sky.

I started one SKC player, not crying.

Figured it happened to most everyone.

No ones crying.. It's just ridiculous to have teams get punished
for a game being cancelled. Not everyone is equally affected
by it and it's not the mangers fault. It's not hard to have a
policy in place to prevent it

So subs would be 'equal'? Like what?

Auto-Sub: Morales gets put in for Benny and I get negative points when I purposely put Morales on the bench?

Pick our sub: I put in Duvall after the fact because he got the most points on my bench and my formation changes from 3-4-3 (this week) to 4-3-3? Not everyone has that option.

Future sub: If someone has players from any of the 4 teams playing on Sunday they can sub those players in for the KC players? Not everyone has that option.

Yup, subs, "not hard" ...

I'm fine with how it is but maybe someone has a legitimate suggestion? I think you have to cover all scenarios though before throwing (stuff) against the wall to see if anything sticks ...

So that means, what would happen if the last game of the week gets postponed (i.e. if PHI-DCU didn't happen tonight) ...

That takes out Ben's suggestion of up to kickoff time subs, because it's the last game of the week, no one to sub in.

Which means it would go back to auto-subs which I see that as random as having a player (or in this case, teams) not play when it wasn't known in advance. A team could get points for a player they CHOSE to leave on the bench and simply be lucky that a player they started didn't play or as with my Morales example in the previous post, could lose points even though they CHOSE to put him on the bench because they figured he'd get negative points.

Personally, I like a setup where you live with your selections, good, bad or even. As opposed to free unearned points or getting punished for correctly putting a player on the bench, which I find would be much more random on the per week basis than the 1-2 times a year that a game gets postponed to a later date.

Orlando goes up 1-0, nice asst from Shea off his head and finish by Avila with his head.

Cool shot of the crowd celebrating the goal, also. Good to have Orlando in the league.

Larin makes it 2-0, nice setup from Kaka (with a mix of bad defending) ...

The only problem I have with your post is that you used i.e. where you probably should have used e.g. Other than that, I'm all good with your logic. I also will double down on my suggestion that you yell at the sky...maybe some curse suggesting that elbow by Kaka should have been red or decrying the supreme being that would engineer that monstrosity of an Easter Island noggin that Taylor Twellman's rockin'.

ha, good catch, my mistake.

ORL up 3-0, Kaka PK. This obviously isn't LA's best XI but Orlando should still get credit for how they're playing.

Probably not the best week to start Leonardo for LA defense.
Orlando making them look like amateurs
