DC, NYR, NER, CMB, CHI, TOR...

I don't think it's that much weaker than the west at all. RSL
looks bad thus far. LAG misses Donovan and Keane. No one
thinks much of POR, SJE, COL. The rest of the teams have
been really inconsistent as well

CHI has beaten 3 crappy Eastern teams in a row. Let's see what happens with the next two vs. West (0-3)

Take CHI off the list and the top five are still comparable. DC
just won at VAN. NYR should have beat but tied LAG. NER
killed RSL.

East is still clearly inferior to the West.

If my math is correct, six of the East teams have more losses than wins against the West, while that's the case for only two West teams.

Five/Half of the East teams are winless against the West. Only one West team hasn't beat a team from the East (the team in last place in the West) ...

I'm not doing any research right now, but it's unfair to compare
divisions strictly by the last couple teams. Yes, the last 3-4 in
the West are better than the last 3-4 in the east, but the top six
I think are very comparable in terms of quality.

In terms of the East, I think NER has the best chance to make
it to the final. Very solid on both sides of the ball and after
listening to an interview with CD yesterday their team morale
level is very high also.

I've been trying to find out about Javier's status. Here's the latest I can find:

Houston is a tough call this week
with games against two jekyll and
Hyde teams. Both games at home, but
which Dallas and which SJ teams will
show up this week?
I like NYRB against the Rapids but
the NE game away is kind of scary,
especially considering how NE played
last week.

I can't find any information about Robbie Keane's status. Is he still out?

Haven't seen any news on him but he seems to be very fickle
this year. Dropped him for BWP as a result for more
consistency and happy with my decision.

I'm a fan of Keane but also a fan of players who tough it out
sometimes.

I guess that explains BWP's lack of
production lately. Thanks Norm! : )

For those of you without access to MLS Live, or whatever the hell
"Altitude" is, you can follow the match as I will, on Yahoo!:

Who knew!? Yahoo! still good for something ...

Can't afford Direct Kick at $79 for a full season?
