Anyone able to view 3Rivers SC's lineup for Week 6? Tells me unable to load when I try.

I have the same experience Mark. You can see his
Week 5 lineup and then see his roster moves since
then. For example, you can see he now has Ousted in
goal (he obviously studied my team).

The page error could be a significant issue. I just reported it to Mark.

He told me earlier today that he will fix the issue with the prediction points this evening.

One of the things I enjoy about the Mugs O Suds tournament is its twist on the MFLS rules. Only goals are counted (aside from tiebreakers). A good MFLS point haul may not translate into a head-to-head Mug matchup.

Mark Chung Group

Jogo Feito breezed past the Castle Hill Comets 3-1 to claim a share of first place after two weeks of group competition. Gras Pitch Please shares first place with four points following a narrow 1-0 victory over Carnival FC on a goal from Rivero.

Lubos Kubik Group

Top Shelf shares first place in the Lubos Kubik Group, thanks to a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers FC. Giles Barnes’s goal was the difference. Mattylip FC also has four points to lead the group. Mattylip downed the Dudley Street Hooligans 1-0 on Rivero’s goal.

Ivan McKinley Group

Damn Dirty Apes beat Mohawks 1-0 with Rivero’s goal to claim a share of first place in the Ivan McKinley group. The Apes share it with the Hounds FC, who edged Redneck SC 3-2. A pair of Kamara goals proved to be the difference.

Miklos Molnar Group

Dynamo Silver Spring is one of only three 2-0 teams after two weeks. They got past 3Rivers SC 3-2 with Rivero’s goal. Wierder Bremen and Una Vida contigo finished tied at two.

Miles Joseph Group

The Arrows SC are also perfect with two wins, the second one coming at the expense of F.C. Bayern Tampa 3-2. SDFC Macross evened its record at 1-1 with a 1-0 victory over Avengers with Rivero’s goal.

Troy Dayak Group

Nguyenning and Flying Bulbuls tied 1-1. The point gave Nguyenning the lead in the group after two weeks. Wolford Wolves topped Real New Britski 2-1 on goals by Kaka and Barnes.

Ariel Graziani Group

El fútbol es así bested Aviators 3-2, with Kitchen’s two goals making the difference. The Laws of Lalas and Madrid Sport Team tied 3-3.

Digital Takiwira Group

Kaka’s goal gave FC Byrd Turgler a 1-0 victory over Friends of Rob Friend. Glorydaze and Low Expectations were knotted at one.

Please check my work.

This just goes to show how strange MFLS Cup competitions are. When I won Mugs, I think my league rank was somewhere in the 200s. This year I am 7th so far and 0-2, having scored 5 goals.

I can still move on if Arrows beats Avengers and I beat SDFC Macross. Might have to win by two though because I can't remember the tie breaker. Is it goal difference or head to head? or goals scored?

You don't have to get technical yet Bob. You play everyone in your group twice, so it is still early. days in the competition.

I forgot. I was thinking that it was each team once. Now I don't feel too bad. Just have to keep scoring high and the wins will come.

I don't have a single common player with Avengers this week. I don't remember the last time I had that happen in a tournament game.

I only have Shuttleworth and Arena in common with Macross, so we don't have any field players in common.

It's a testament to the growth of the league and the strength of
individual players - now there are many paths to success. Good
luck!

Mark Chung Group

Carnival blanked Jogo Feito 2-0 to take sole possession of first place, on goals from Martins and Kamara. Castle Hill Comets posted its first win of the group stage, beating Grass Pitch Please on a goal from defender Omar Gonzales.

Lubos Kubik Group

Top Shelf and MattyLip FC share the Lubos Kubik group lead with unbeaten 2-0-1 records. Both benefited from a pair of goals from Lamar Neagle. Top Shelf beat the Dudley Street Hooligans 2-0, and MattyLip downed Blackburn Rovers 2-1.

Ivan McKinley Group

Mohawks pounded Redneck SC 5-2 for its first win of the group stage. Redneck is still searching for its first win. Damn Dirty Apes are still undefeated and in first place. The Apes topped Hounds FC 3-1 on Seattle goals from Naegle and Martins.

Miklos Molnar Group

Dynamo Silver Spring is a perfect 3-0 in the group stage. Using Seattle’s goals from Naegle and Martins, DSS knocked off Weirder Bremen 3-1. 3Rivers SC clobbered Una vida contigo 3-0 for its first win.

Miles Joseph Group

The Avengers slipped past Arrows SC 1-0 on a goal from Obafemi Martins. SDFC Macross defeated FC Bayern Tampa 2-1 on Lamar Neagle’s pair of goals. FCBT is winless at 0-3, while the other three teams sport identical 2-1 records.

Troy Dayak Group

Last year’s champ Real New Britski shut out Nguyenning 3-0 to move into a tie for first place with Wolford Wolves. The Wolves blanked Flying Bulbuls 2-0 on the pair of goals from Neagle.

Ariel Graziani Group
El fútbol es así remains perfect at 3-0 and atop the Ariel Graziani group. El fútbol got past The Laws of Lalas 1-0 on a goal from Blas Perez. Aviators and Madrid Sport Team finished in a scoreless tie.

Digital Takiwira Group

FC Byrd Turgler is in first place with a 2-0-1 record, following their 3-0 blanking of Glorydaze. Friends of Rob Friend posted their first group stage win in a big way, with a convincing 4-1 result over Low Expectations.

Please check my work.

This week was actually my second win. In Week 5, I beat
Glorydaze 3-1. In Week 6, I lost to FC Byrd Turgler 1-0.
Taking this week into account, I should be in 2-0-1, and in
second place in the Digital Takiwira group.

Thanks for taking the time to review it, and for pointing out the error. I did this quickly yesterday during a break at work, and I was afraid of something like this. I also switched the columns for losses and ties, and I think that threw me off. I corrected the standings now.

With two weeks to go the Mug O Suds heard is thinning. Some teams have already been eliminated, as only the group leaders will advance to the single-elimination, knockout round. Yes, it’s harsh.

Mark Chung Group

Every team is still in the hunt. Grass Pitch Please is now in the lead with seven points, after defeating Jogo Feito 4-2, helped by a pair of goals by Benny Feilhaber. Castle Hill Comets edged Carnival FC 5-4, putting both teams just one point behind the leader.

Lubos Kubik Group

Top Shelf stands undefeated atop the Lubos Kubik group. TS downed second place Mattylip FC 6-4, and has a three point lead with two games to go. Blackburn Rovers and Dudley Street Hooligans were knotted at 3-3. Blackburn has a slim but mathematical chance to advance, but the Hooligans are eliminated.

Ivan McKinley Group

Any team can still advance from the Ivan McKinley group. Hounds FC leads on goal difference over Damn Dirty Apes, but both have seven points. Hounds crushed Mohawks 6-2. Redneck SC earned its first win of the season, narrowly beating the Apes 2-1 on a strike from Kei Kamara.

Miklos Molnar Group

Dynamo Silver Spring holds a commanding lead in the Miklos Molnar group, and can clinch a berth in the knockout round with a win in either of the two remaining weeks. DSS stayed unbeaten after finishing even with Una vida contigo 4-4. With a record of 0-2-2, UVC has been eliminated and will not advance. Wierder Bremen and 3Rivers SC also finished deadlocked at 2-2. Both still have a slim chance of winning the group, but need two wins in the last two games, and also need DSS to go winless in two.

Miles Joseph Group

Avengers and SDFC Macross are tied at the top of the Miles Joseph group with nine points, and also tied on goal difference. Avengers handed FC Bayern Tampa it’s fourth loss in four games, eliminating FCBT. Macross toppled Arrows SC 3-2, benefitting from a pair of goals by Ethan Finlay.

Troy Dayak Group

Real New Britski leads the Troy Dayak group on point difference. RNB blanked Flying Bulbuls 3-0, eliminating the Bulbuls from the knockout round. The Wolford Wolves also have nine points, three of them coming from a 4-2 victory over Nguyenning.

Ariel Graziani Group

Two teams are still in the mix to advance out of the Ariel Graziani group. El fútbol es así has a three point cushion, even after a 1-1 tie against Madrid Sport Team. Madrid does not have enough points to overtake EFEA and is eliminated. Aviators cruised past Laws Of Lalas 5-1, staying in contention for the group lead, and knocking LOL out of the knockout round.

Digital Takiwira Group

Every team remains alive in the Digital Takiwira group. Low Expectations handed FC Byrd Turgler its first loss 6-2, but FCBT still leads the group with seven points. Glorydaze earned its first win by beating Friends of Rob Friend 3-2.
Please check my work. And note that although teams are describes above as being eliminated from the knockout round, all group teams will continue to play in the group stage until the end. I think everyone knows that, but I want it to be clear.
