16 fantasy points for me, but I would have been just as happy
with LA losing. I can't bear the thought of them winning MLS
Cup again.

I hate LA. It was strange being at the game tonight as Fire fan
though. I think they're were 20 of us in total at that stadium.
Stub hub was a nice venue though. I expected the loss. I
actually thought Maloney looked good along with Ignoenake or
whatever the hell his name is. We had nothing going. Happy to
see Gehrig get minutes since I grew up in his town and my
father coached him as a kid.

I'm glad you compare my roster to yours as well,Randlall. ;) I
like to think I'm good at this but still gal short often. Robbie
Keane > Zardes for sure. Tonight showed that not even
counting the late unimportant goal. Zardes had his
opportunities.

Too much alcohol right now and need to sleep, but this should
be a fascinating season!

I am also really looking forward to this season. It has the earmarks of a good one. I'm so glad it wasn't sullied by a strike.

I agree and a big year for MLS to reach its 20th year, I
remember seeing my first mls game in the first season at
Giants stadium (Metrostars vs Galaxy) and now 20 years later
seeing my probably close to 100th game. MLS is one of best
and most resilient leagues in the world, regardless of what
some critics/cynics may say about the league.

Here's the thing I was getting at about the coach
fees in a prior post. All the coach fees are listed
at 0. I'm assuming that Arena and Schmid are really
100. I believe that if I were to trade Arena for
Schmid 100 fee would go into my bank, even though I
should get 0 in the bank.

Not sure what to do about Pinedo. I'm miffed that he
didn't start. Three managers had Rowe starting.
Inside info?

The word is that Penedo hasn't signed his new
contract yet and apparently is holding out for more
money, per Bigsoccer boards.

I really thought Lawrentewitz and Gehrig actually looked really
good. If not for those two score would have been worse.

Fred, your suspicion is confirmed. I just took the hit for Arena. Go ahead and gobble up the slush, MFLSers!

Ben, your slush fund is still at 0 and no roster
moves are listed. You're saying you traded Arena?
