The International Cup begins this week with two matches - one in the USA bracket and one in the International bracket. In the USA region, the Winnin Guys face CoorsElway for the right to face Skillz in the next round. Stormin Union likes the tournament so much he gets to play more of it than anyone else if he makes it to the final. He faces KNIGHTMARE the next two weeks.

Sounds good Kerry, this is my favorite tournament in mfls and I
enjoy being a dark horse this year.

In the first leg of the first round, we have the Winnin Guys almost tied with CoorsElway in the USA region, and Stormin Union leading KNIGHTMARE in the International region.

The first round of the International Cup is over as Stormin Union moves on to face NCL in the International bracket, and the Winnin Guys will be facing Skillz.

Gamecocks well played.

2014 International Cup defending champion is pretty much gone. Second Leg could by all means provide a surprise.

However given my record in Open Cup, Mug O Suds and honestly my performance in the First World - feel safe knowing you have already advanced.

congratulations

14 point lead after the first leg but still have a feeling it will be a
close finish.

The first leg of the International Cup round two is complete. In the USA bracket, the Winnin Guys have charged to an 11 point lead over Skillz. EHS Wildcats is trailing Rifintora Tora Tora in the highest scoring match of the round so far. The Wolford Wolves have a 17 point cushion over the mighty Hotspur, who dug themselves quite a hole to overcome. Hotspur is fortunate the Wolves were a lower scoring team this week or this would be over already. And SDFC Macross has a six point lead on Baltimore Kickers FC. In the World bracket, NCL is trailing Stormin Union by 15 points, which is an identical margin to the lead enjoyed by The Busdrivers over Fox River FC. The chances of giggitty repeating as champion took a huge hit as Gamecocks currently leads by 18 points. And Mohawks trails Houston Oranje 6 to 13. The prevailing storyline of this round is that the lower seeded teams generally did better than the higher seeded teams.

Looks like it will be a photo finish vs NCL to make the next
round, hoping for Barnes to put me ahead...

As expected, close finish vs NCL and barely won by only a 3
point margin. That last shot by Duvall almost had me falling off
my chair, luckily it was saved otherwise it would have ended
differently. Close match-ups like that are why this tournament
is the best in MFLS in my opinion.

The International Cup round two is complete. the Winnin Guys fall to Skillz by virtue of the tiebreaker(more MFLS points). Rifintora Tora Tora defeats EHS Wildcats. Hotspur is better than the Wolford Wolves by a point in the second leg, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deep hole from the first leg. Baltimore Kickers FC pulls two back on Macross, but Macross moves on. NCL catches up to Stormin Union by 12 points, but Stormin Union is a close winner. The Busdrivers lose by six to Fox River in the second leg, but move on to face the Stormin Union. giggitty needed to make up an 18 point deficit on GameCocks and got 21. He faces Mohawks, who also had a smaller deficit to the Houston Oranje to make up in order to advance.

2 points behind Busdrivers going into the second leg, looks
like it will be another photo finish this week.
