Handball seemed obvious to me, too.
Either way, Dempsey's goal was a deserving winner. |

Dempsey looked good vs. Dallas. He was moved back
to midfield. Dallas-Seattle should be the game to
watch this weekend. Sometimes I think Pareja
overcoaches and outhinks himself.
Per Unitedmania podcast:
1. Kitchen at fault for McCarty goal.
2. Hamid partially at fault for not coming out to
get the cross.
3. Nice driven cross by Kljextan.
4. Look for Birnbaum to replace the injured
Franklin Sunday. Not much depth for DC on defense.
5. Most of the guys on the podcast don't think DCU
has a chance.
6. Most picked Vancouver over Portland.

DC/NY get together for the record 81st time in MLS play. Do you know the next most played rivalry?

Good question. Let it be known I have done no
research whatsoever in making my guess: DC/Crew.
I considered KC/LA but I'm pretty sure the Sporks
spent time in the East. |

Sporks are currently the only team to win MLS cup as a member of the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. |

Good guess. DC/Crew have met 70 times, KC/LA less than that. The rivalry in question surprisingly does not involve any of those teams.

Colorado and Dallas at 75. That is the next most played series after DC/NY.

Congratulations to Red Bull for defeating DC 2-0 on
aggregate and passing on to the semifinals. |

Bobby Boswell's turnover proved fatal, but Kemp ya gotta mark BWP on that sequence. |

That might be the last PK Kamara ever takes. |

I'd have to say Saborio never blended into the team
and didn't meet DC's expectations. Then there was
the loss of Johnson and lots of injuries like Korb,
Franklin, and Arnaud. |

Crew advance ...
I'll pick them over NJ in the eastern finals ...

If Dallas scores this half and Seattle doesn't,
Dallas advances. |

Dallas seems to have too much speed for Seattle. |
