For a fee play consider Seb Hines of Orlando. 130
sal, 0 fee. He's 26 and has several years of
experience in England and is a US citizen since his
father is American. He's probably a very good
defender though he doesn't have any goals or assists
yet. He made the MLSsoccer TOW bench this week. Kai
Kamara talked him into crossing the pond.

Bradford Jameison, BJIV, for LA. Sal 66, Fee 0. He
looked very good last week, maybe better than
Zardes, whose first touch is less than thrilling.

Dylan Remick has started several matches in a row
at right back for Seattle. He's got more points
than Chad Marshall. Leo Gonzalez, the presumed
starter, is old at 34. Sal 56, fee 5.

Add that he is playing pretty well too, Fred. Siggi certainly has an
eye for developing terrific young fullbacks, and he is not shy to give
them chances. Wish he did the same thing at other positions,
although Rose is also playing really well and getting the nod.

That's good to know. I'm not a great judge of
talent. I just know who gets points and starts.

Did Zack Pfeffer (56, 0) win the Philly left wing
job? MLSsoccer.com's Armchair Analyst thinks it
might be so (Wenger has been awful):

"1. Congrats to the Union's Zach Pfeffer on that
goal, which was deserved after a tough week – he was
the last cut from Tab Ramos' US U-20 national team.
Instead of pouting, Pfeffer persevered in the best
way imaginable, and I suspect we'll see more of him
in that left wing role."

Also, what about all the cheap keepers that are
starting now- Tyler Deric, Chris Kanopka, Tim
Melia,and Evan Bush?

Amadou Dia (80,0) and Kevin Ellis (73, 2), both KC
defenders, were named to the team of the week this
week and started both games last week.

With KC being idle this week Tim Melia's fee has
plunged from 47 to 15, not to mention his 42
salary.

Thomas McNamara (69, 0) has scored 5,2,5, and 2
points in his last four games. He has scored more
mfls points than Caldwell, LeToux, Shipp,
Beckerman, Jones, Diskerud, Nguyen, and Martins.
