This is my prediction for the game next week:

Players will be played out of position.
In minute 80 a number of players will be out of gas.
The US will be scored on in the dying minutes.
Someone in on the US will get injured.

USA-Mexico is always a great one to watch (except the gold
cup a few years back where we were demolished at giants
stadium, rough game to see live, almost as bad the union
game this past Sunday) I'm sure we will see them in the final
this year also in philly. Having cuban heritage I'm hoping to
see Cuba do well also and maybe get third. Mexico was
nervous when Cuba surprised them early in the gold cup a few
years back with a golazo from Reynier Alcantara. It was short
lived thanks to Borgetti, still it was fun to them sweating for a
while.

And can anyone guess who assisted on Alcantara's goal?
(Hint: he currently plays in MLS)

Dos a cero it was last night. Anybody watch? I
watched the second half. Two nice goals. Mex
probably needed to close down on Agudelo a little
quicker. He had all day to tee it up.

The USA shirts reminded me of the first Dallas
Cowboy jerseys from the early 60's, from when QB Don
Meredith alternated plays with Eddie LeBaron.

That was the best I have seen the us play in in years. It almost looked like we had some kind of plan. Two strikers- refreshing.
