Remember seeing that golazo he scored in the 2006 All-star
game when I went to Chicago that summer, extra sweet as an
Arsenal fan to see him score it vs Chelsea.

DeRo definitely put up some big fantasy numbers for many of us for many years. I recall him having a monster night for DC (and DSS) at home v RSL. I took a few buddies to the game who are not the biggest soccer fans, and complain about low scores. DC puts in 3 or 4 in the first half and DeRo is involved in all but one of them. Sweet all around.

I also remember EJ having a night like that when a ridiculously depleted DC went to Dallas and lost 5-1. EJ had 2 goals and 2 assists that night. I wanna say Dallas played another game that week too, because I recall EJ ending up with 21 or 22 points that week.

Anyone else recall monstrous single week, single player performances? Clint Mathis had a few with his big goal games. Keane's had some big DGW results in the last few years too.

I cannot remember specific weeks or numbers, but it
was fantasy suicide to not have Carlos Ruiz on your
roster in 2002.

And I'll take this opportunity to recall Ben Olsen's
hat trick vs. the Energy Drinks in 2007.
