I was wondering how fast Duka would go after last
night.... I almost did it, but i have zero faith
in Montreal +/- not destroying every player on
their teams value.

I watched the whole game, also I will be at the game tuesday, Montreal outside backs are suspect. I don't have faith in clean sheets for Montreal. Also, I am still not sure Duka will start Tuesday.

Didn't everyone get the memo that I claimed Barnes and Aristequieta?

What do you think I was saving all that money and foreigner allocations for?

Got to replan my end game now.

I'm pretty happy with my midfield Hal. If you want to propose something for Barnes, I'd listen as long as I thought it was helpful to me as well.

Think Barnes will start?

I personally do or I wouldn't have picked him. 100% until Torres arrives, and I think he will either keep his place up top, or wind up in the mid after. Read an article the other day where he mentioned he had a good previous relationship with Coyle. Another article had Coyle quoted as saying good things about Barnes. Of course managers always say good things about every player in the preseason.

My biggest worry isn't whether he will get the minutes, but if Houston is any good. On paper, I like what they have to offer in the mid and up top, but have questions defensively.

I'll probably change my regular mfls team another 10 times, but right now I have Barnes and 6 others of my draft team in my regular team.

Pretty high number! I had Barnes as a lock until recently when
Hoffman got a start up top. The midfield is tight for him to get
into too with Davis, Clark, Boniek, Garrido all seemingly
certain starters.

The last preseason games will tell a lot.

Yep. In watching Houston last year, Barnes was a much better player than Boniek. That said, I think if Boniek returns to the player he has been at times, his upside is probably more than Barnes. Coyle will need to decide whether he wants to play with essentially two holding mids or more of a diamond once Torres gets here.

Ultimately I think that Bruin, Barnes, Boniek, Davis, and even Clark and Garrido may all be affected by rotation once Torres arrives.

I'm out until 9:30 PM for a meeting and without access to my cell phone.

Everyone has been picking my end game players; I need to totally revise my end game plan. If it's back to me, I hope to pick by 10 PM EST.

I think slowly Bruin will be the odd man out unless he starts out
hot.

I probably agree that Bruin is the most likely odd man out at some point. He'll have a chance to shine early though, and will obviously be as motivated as ever.

Was definitely questioning whether or not to pick
him, but now I think I'm happy with the decision,
haha.
