And I agree on the CONCACAF teams. The Panama - Honduras match was embarrassing to everyone involved and painful to watch. How long did Panama delay the taking of the PK? The Referee should have started handing out yellow cards to all the Panama players standing on the PK spot and to Pinedo for not getting in the goal.

Are the referees intimidated and afraid to make calls or give cards for anything other than a life threatening tackle? or obvious handball?

No Anibaba for KC. He apparently injured his quad and is out for about 6 weeks. Good ole MLS injury report for you.

The Gold Cup is so hard to watch when USA isn't playing. Garbage soccer.

Glad I can have it on mute on one of the other TV's while I focus on KC-VAN on the main TV.

They should make the prisoners at Guantanamo watch the Gold Cup. If that doesn't break them nothing will.

The top 5-7 overall have really tightened up. The top three
were up by 20-30 points at one point. Glad to move to #1 right
now but wish I had more room. Lots of weeks to go

Way to go brother Hoosier.

With Arrows on holiday across the pond, I checked
the Week 19 scores and found the following:
In the CHI1:0SEA match, the yellow card that MFLS
charged to Ignacio Maganto should have been charged
to Andy Craven.
In the SJE0:2HOU match, MFLS needs to charge yellow
cards to Raul Rodriguez and Nathan Sturgis, both of
HOU.
These are reported. Kudos to Mark for his rapid
results reporting and to Dan for his diligent
review. Checking all the subs is truly time
consuming (when I am supposed to be working).

Ben, I was going to add England and Portugal to your list of
dreaded NT's. But then I realized that, as a Spaniard, I really have
no idea of how it feels losing against any of the two. I just suspect it
would be dreadful...

I agree with you Luis on England and
Portugal. But you can always count on
both to choke in the big games.
I almost put Spain on my list, but
their days of dominance was fleeting
but spectacular. I felt no shame in
losing to that team. Germany will
havea similar fate if they don't find
a target striker before the next
world cup. Or the European
championship.
