I can't stand it any more. I've quit making changes. I'm going big on strikers. One non-starter. See above. |

3 days ago I was very happy with my team...now I want to
scrap them all and start again.
I wonder if real Football GM's feel like that after week one?
Now the big question. which REAL GM will feel like that this
coming Monday? |

I had a decent week and still managed to burn 6 transfers. As
a result I've begun a strict regimen of meditation and self
discipline that will end this transfer burning madness. New
strategy, limit of 4 transfers per month, use flex formation to
make the best of it for the rest of the month until the next
month's supply of 4 transfers, this will give me enough
transfers to last the season. Si Se Puede! |

Resisted the urge to spend some transfers to get Kaka, damn
this s**t is actually working! |

You will regret not getting Kaka : )
but you have guaranteed the rest of
us big points from him this week. |

I have Molino, Kaka's assist man, so I can still cash in if Kaka
scores. Should be a good match tonight. |

Dunno, I still Madrid's Kaka image in my mind. He was awful there.
The man is very talented, but I think talent and technical skills are
not enough anymore for fading stars to succeed in MLS. You need
work ethics and a desire to do something special. That is what set
apart guys like Henry, Keane, Schelotto, Villa or Di Vaio from the
likes of Denilson, Rafa Márquez, and the remaining long list of stars
that failed in MLS. Hope that Kaka makes it but, again, that Real
Madrid stint... it was more than not being in top shape. |

Luis. did you watch the game last weekend. Kaka was visibly pissed off about being subbed out. I think he still has a passion for the game and wants to succeed in Orlando.
I am convinced that he will do well. Not MVP well like some have predicted, but well. |

Well, that's one of the things in Madrid: he made very evident that
he thought he should be a starter, no matter what. But when he
came into the game he never did anything to prove he was. I really
hope to be wrong (apart from everything, he looks like a nice guy). |

Canicas: Never forget the most failed MLS foreign holidaymaker

all. |

Hey Preston, I choose to remember the Lothar Matthaus that played for Bayern and in 5 world cups (150 caps) for Germany. Not the guy who played (if you can call it that) for the Metrostars. His heart was never in it in NY.
It's a little early to compare Kaka to Matthaus. |

Norm. They gave you an extra day, so you still have time to burn a few transfers. |

My transfer restraint is paying off Bob, this bodes well for me
and trouble for everyone else in this league. My fantasy
football and fantasy hockey trophy cases are looking good but
my fantasy soccer case has been growing cobwebs so need to
change that this season. |

I won the Mugs in 2011 and MFLS Open Cup in 2010, but haven't done anything since. But I have dusted off the trophies and made room for a new this year. |
