I see Steven Gerrard's fee is up to 3, El Cubo is
up to 10, and Lampard is still at 0. Time to bite?

Last I heard allegations of sexual assault have
appeared to complicate matters for El Cubo's US work
visa, which could be delayed or worse.

MLS is downplaying the Cubo problem. There hasn't
been much printed or said about it since the story
broke. But it's still there. It's like living in a
banana republic where the government controls the
press.

I'm torn between goalies this week. Going strictly
by the odds I should go with Deric instead of
Hamid since Houston is home and vs. Chicago. But
Hamid has two shutouts in a row and is going up
against Seatttle without 3 DP's, Marco Pappa, and
Chad freakin' Barrett at forward. Seattle is rated
as a heavy favorite, almost 2 to 1. But I think DC
with Hamid is better than that. In addition,
Houston has several players missing- Barnes,
Davis, Boniek, and Taylor.

I agree Fred, although Norm would have you believe
that DC will have nothing left in the tank after
tonight's "cauldron of fury" in Chester's
"thunderdome of doom".

Norm, you really missed your calling on Madison
Avenue.

I just hope your support group is nearby when Philly
folds tonight like a cheap tent (wink)

Winner of DC / PHI is my pick to win the USOC this year, calling that now. I also think DC will win tonight.

Based on the storm clouds over philly today it might be
waterworld instead of thunderdome. Dooping in the rain
sounds good to me. C'mon the U!

Read a tweet from Goff that said Hamid is out this
weekend with a finger problem.

"D.C. is not at full strength either, but isnít
missing the number of impact players as Seattle.
Forward Chris Pontius (calf), midfielder Michael
Farfan (hamstring) and defender Sean Franklin
(Achillesí tendinitis) did not make the trip.
Goalkeeper Bill Hamid has a finger ailment; he is
listed as ďoutĒ on the teamís injury list."

Okay United, the best time to kick a dog is when it's down. No
