KC stunk it up so bad last night that a goal and assist from Kamara still leaves me in a deep hole.

Good because I just dropped more points yesterday.
I'll be lucky if I'm positive even with to Toronto
players.

has anyone ever gotten the best league score one
week and then the worst the next week? I left
points on the bench & picked up Feilhaber at the
wrong time! If LA gets smoked tonight, I think
I'll only have two players with positive points!

well, I just realized I miraculously left in
Ousted so that helps. I swore I had Melia
playing...

I know how you feel. I only had 4
points going into the LA game and
ended up with 44.

Toronto and LA saved my week after DC and KC both laid eggs.

Capital League
--------------
The final week of the season is here and we are down to two sides. Low Expectations takes the title with a win or a draw.

Hounds needs to win big and for Low Expectations to lose. Then it comes down to point differential. Low Expectations should be able to hold on, even with a loss, but crazier things have happened.

Relegation

Hanscom United and Lowbrow Wanderers SC are relegated. However the final relegation spot is a question mark.

First things first, KC Frostbite need a result this week. A loss will see them relegated. And they play Hounds who are still in the hunt for a title - not a favorable matchup when you are hoping to survive. However, if they get a draw, they could survive. Let's break it down.

KC Frostbite loss - relegation.

KC Frostbite draw - Carnival is relegated with a loss, but survives with a draw.

KC Frostbite wins - Carnival win and Causmos draw/loss means Causmos is relegated. Carnival win and Causmos win combined with losses by Blackburn Rovers and Stanton Park could possible give us a four team tie for the last relegation spot between Blackburn, Stanton Park, Carnival, and KC Frostbite with point differential deciding the outcome. In that case KC Frostbite will need to make up some serious points, but it is possible for any of the four to go down. Do you really want to take that chance?

FC Bayern Tampa clinch the title with a win or a draw/loss by Hampton Strikers.

Hampton Strikers take the title with a win and a draw/loss by FC Bayern Tampa.

That's it for the title race. Now on to the last promotion spot.

Tennessee FC claim the last promotion spot with a win/draw or a draw/loss by Retrodog FC.

Retrodog FC claim the last promotion spot with a win and a Tennessee FC loss.

If Retrodog FC wins and Tennessee FC draws, then it comes down to point differential with Tennessee FC having a huge advantage.

This should be interesting.

After last matches score, I will need a big turn around to
maintain a promotion spot. Great season so far everyone.

Capital League - Recap
--------------
The Capital league season is now complete and Low Expectations finished it off in style by winning their last match of the season and finishing at the top of the table. Congratulations to Low Expectations on a great season.

Hounds FC were close, but settle for second in the table. They will hope to go one step further next year.

Mattylip had a great first year in the top flight and finished in third. He may be a force to be reckoned with in the future.

KC Frostbite got the big win they needed to crawl out of the relegation zone and survive.

The unlucky side to take their place and go down was Causmos who lost in the last week.

Hanscom United got a win this week and showed the never give up attitude we come to expect from them, unfortunately their fate had already been determined. They will look at it as the first step in the road back next year.

Lowbrow Wanderers SC had a year to forget as they finished at the bottom of the table. Lowbrow had been the side who had spent the longest time in the top division (10 years), so this is really shocking. However, someone has to go down and this shows how competitive the top flight really is. It is an accomplishment just to survive. Unfortunately, they didn't and we will see them in the Colonial League next year.
