Capital League

*Match of the week*

Low Expectations at VFL Huskers - Low Expectations are even on points for the top spot, while VFL Huskers are only three points off the pace. Low Expectations will want to continue winning and put the pressure on the other three sides at the top - Hounds FC, Seattle SC, and Mattylip FC. However, VFL Huskers are hungry and will want to stay in the race, they know that falling six points off the pace could end their dream of a Capital League crown.

Colonial League

*Match of the week*

Retro Dog FC at Tennessee FC - Tennessee are holding on to the final promotion spot - barely. Retro Dog are three points back and could move into third with a win or fall six points back with a loss. The stakes are high for both sides in this one.

That's a huge Capital League match. Not sure if I should root for L.E. or for VFL, the former is closest competition while the latter would mean yet another team in the contenders group.

I'm on track for 80+ points this
week. That would ease some of the
pain from last weeks -8

Well, didn't quite make it to 80
points, but enough to get the win in
the Colonial. Hampton kept pace
though. Could be a big matchup week
12 if this keeps up.

Capital League - Recap

Low Expectations routed VFL Huskers in the match of the week and took over the top spot on goal differential. However, Hounds, Seattle, and Mattylip all won meaning the top four remain separated only by goal differential. This means a tight finish in the Capital League with the stretch run coming up soon.

At the bottom of the table, Causmos and Stanton Park climbed out of the relegation zone. KC Frostbite and Hanscom United dropped into the bottom three with Lowbrow Wanderers. No one's fate is sealed yet though.

Colonial League

Bayern Tampa and Hampton Strikers both won and are now six points clear at the top with Tampa on top by goal differential.

However, Retro Dog FC slipped past Tennessee FC making room for Newport FC in the top three. Tennessee are now in fourth followed by Retro Dog in fifth. Both sides are two points off the pace for promotion.

Wins by Portland Red Tide and Mizzo FC saw them climb up the table and back into contention. Both sides are only three points off the pace for promotion.
