Capital League

*Match of the week*

Mattylip FC at Low Expectations - Low Expectations are at the top of the table and would like to stay there as they eye a return to glory. However, Mattylip FC are having a strong campaign and know that a win this week will keep them in contention, while a loss would put them two games back and needing some major help to get back in the race.

Colonial League

*Match of the week*

Retro Dog FC at FC Bayern Tampa - Retro Dog are 5th in the table and know a win could move them as high as third. However, Bayern Tampa are in second and could go top with a win, if Hampton loses this week. (Something Hampton has not done yet, so don't count on it.)

Gamblers FC at Newport FC - Gamblers are in fourth, while Newport are in 7th. However, only one point separates the two sides. A win for either side could move them into third place and a promotion spot, so there is everything to play for in this one.

We have entered the Twilight Zone. At this point in the season I have not been this high in the standings division or league since I ate those mushrooms.

I think your guys have selective
amnesia. They didn't take too many
points off of FC Bayern over the
years. : )

Capital League - Recap

Hounds FC and Mattylip FC won, while Low Expectations and Seattle SC lost. The result is a four way tie at the top with only point differential separating the top four.

Hounds FC are back on top, followed by Low Expectations, Seattle SC, and Mattylip FC.

Meanwhile, three points back, Dynamo Salem, VFLs Huskers, and 3Rivers SC are lurking. It is tight at the top.

On the other end, a big win for KC Frostbite took them out of the relegation zone and into relative safety. However, Stanton Park crashed and fell into the bottom three with Lowbrow Wanderers SC and Causmos. However, they are all a win away from redemption at this point.

Colonial League - Recap

The big news this week was the win by Mizzo FC over Hampton Strikers. After 10 straight wins in all competitions, it was a shock defeat for the squad from the northwest.

FC Bayern Tampa took over the top spot on goal differential, while Hampton Strikers dropped to second. Tennessee FC got a big win and held on to third place.

However, Newport FC are back in business and only one point back. Gamblers FC and Retro Dog FC are three points pack.

My team is very inconsistent, I'm not so much lurking as flickering.
