Low Expectations, Hounds FC, and Mattylip FC are still tied at the top. Who will be left standing after this week?

Seattle have one last chance for redemption after two heartbreaking weeks in the league. They take on leaders Low Expectations this week knowing that anything less than a win will end the dream. Can they knock off the leaders and get back in the race or will the dream end a lot earlier than they thought it would?

Relegation

KC Frostbite, Hanscom United, and Lowbrow Wanderers SC continue to occupy the bottom three with relegation looking them in the face. With four weeks to go, the time is now.

***Match of the Week***
FC Bayern Tampa vs Hampton Strikers - This one is for first place in the division and possibly the Colonial League title.

Tennessee FC will try to hold on to third place and end the promotion dreams of Damn Dirty Apes with a win this week? However Damn Dirty Apes are not a side that will give up easily. Tennessee FC will have to earn it.

Newport FC dropped a close one last week and will try to get back on track this week knowing a win over Vegas could move them right back into the top three.

Retro Dog FC need to keep winning and get some help. A win over Redbull Empire could possibly move them into the top three, but they will still need some help for that to happen.

Gamblers FC are three points back, but are expected to roll over FC Hanscom this week. If the expected result comes, they know they will stay in the race for another week.

Mizzo FC are still alive and need a win over Golden Gophers this week. Anything but a win could bring the dream of promotion to an end.

Portland Red Tide got back in the race last week and need to continue the momentum with a win over Flatbush SC this week. Three points are a must for the Tide this week.

I'm the master at revenge matches (unfortunately it's always after losing a cup or a final then I get revenge in the form of a league match which doesn't have the immediate importance. Think that happened earlier this year, lost to Hounds in cup then blew Hounds out the next week in league.) ...

So that said, fully expecting a win this week. Probably by one point since justice is balance.

It wasn't me. We didn't play in the cup this year.

It was. Old Firm (competition) ...

Then the next week beat you by 20 in league.

I took the Old Firm match over you by 15, then you knocked me off in the league by 19.

I will take the Old Firm Victory, it stays on the record forever.

That was EXACTLY my point, ha.

I lose in a cup (or competition) then get revenge in a league match. Which doesn't ever feel like that much of 'revenge' since it's less important. It happens almost yearly for me.

Well, you have to turn that tread around at some point. And there is no better time to start than this week. Good luck.

The Seattle game has doomed Hampton Strikers this week. FCB will take over sole possession of first in the Colonial this week.

Matt, you are not helping the cause. You were supposed to win this week. Didn't you know that?

Capital League - recap

Low Expectations, Hounds FC, and Mattylip FC all won again as Seattle lost to Low Expectations ending all hope their season. I guess if you are going to lose it is better to lose spectacularly.

Low Expectations are on top on goal differential, followed by Mattylip, and Hounds FC.

It is a three team race now. Due to the week 14 matchup between Hounds and Mattylip, everyone else has been eliminated from contention.

Lowbrow Wanderers picked up a win this week to move off of the bottom spot and give themselves some hope. However, Lowbrow Wanderers are still in the bottom three, followed by KC Frostbite, and Hanscom United who needs points badly.

No one's fate is sealed yet, but Hanscom United needs a result this week or his fate could be.

FC Bayern Tampa knocked off Hampton Strikers to solidify their hold on the top spot as we enter the stretch run.

Hampton Strikers continue to hold on to second, but they need to get back on track soon.

Tennessee FC won to keep a hold of the third promotion spot, while almost everyone chasing them lost. Mizzo, however, did win and kept themselves in the hunt.
