I was curious to see which MLS teams various
AAPL managers support so I did a quick
analysis.

There are 32 managers who support 14 different
teams. One manager has no team listed for
favorite MLS team.

Here is the distribution:

SEA-5
NER-5
DCU-4
ORL-3
POR-2
CLB-2
NYC-2
NYRB-2
CHI-1
HOU-1
PHI-1
DAL-1
LAG-1
SKC-1
NA-1

Only COL, SJE, RSL, MON, TOR and VAN and not
supported in our division.

Interesting. Canada doesn't surprise me - this is the All American Premier League after all.

SJ fans have their own MFLS division but would think we would have one.

Think others have listed RSL as their favorite in the past?

Colorado ... I really only remember Alpine Dream as a Rapids fan at MFLS, and he was never in our division.

Re: Rapids fans...

In one of my first years of MFLS (before the short-lived fee-based league experiment), I actually joined a Colorado Rapids fan division. It was called River Rats...

IIRC, I joined it because the only DCU division was full. In another year, I recall being in one of the several divisions named for Columbus Crew players (I think it was the Stern John division).

Man, I wish someone had a comprehensive history of MFLS!

Those were the days when 28 was the max division size. Until I joined the AAPL basically every season I joined (once or twice created) a league and it got merged with another league or two to make 28, ha.
